Swinney Has Message for Clemson Fans Ahead of Home Opener

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney had a message for Tiger fans during his Sunday evening Zoom conference call with the media.

Swinney knows Clemson fans are “disappointed” by how the Tigers started this season with Saturday’s 34-3 loss to Georgia.

But Swinney hopes to see the fan base get behind his team and show out in full force this Saturday when Clemson hosts its home opener and welcomes Appalachian State to Death Valley.

“We’ll be pumped up to get home,” Swinney said. “A lot of these guys (freshmen) playing their first home game. I’m excited to get out there and go compete again against a really, really good App team.”
